Rolling with the Good Times

This was a sale I could love doing: nice house, nice neighborhood, nice furniture, all nice and clean, really nice couple who had sold their home so they could finally hit the road in their really nice RV.  Nobody had died and nobody was arguing over who got what.  The couple stayed around for the whole sale and I didn’t even mind!  I wish more sales could go this smoothly.  Sigh.  Still, I do sometimes miss the hoarder houses with their abundance of surprises.  Does that make me crazy?

  1. It doesn’t make you crazy, just curious. I’m glad this sale was a good one. It seems like you’ve needed this one for a while. Does it make me crazy that I love the old lady estate sales. I enjoy seeing their home, how they lived and the things they loved and treasured. Buying their items gives me a since of history :)

  2. Please give me a hoarder’s house … there never seem to be any treasures at the “neat” people house! I like lots of junk to search thru at a really good estate sale you get your hand dirty!
