It was a Hollywood week through and through: Donna Summers Walk of Fame memorial; Monte Christo sandwich at Canter’s Deli; naked man on La Cienega; aging Marilyn Monroe wannabe exchanging words with Darth Vader in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater; chicken and waffles at Roscoe’s; an expensive but good mixologist at The Library Bar in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel; bums requesting lunch at Jack-in-the-Box; an estate sale in a fantastic 1920′s hill home filled with gothic cabinets, crumbling books, spiral stairs, spool bed, Eames chair, baby grand piano, feuding family members and a noisy ghost. Worth doing at least once.

How fun!
Thanks, Rita! It was indeed fun.
